Is Your Spiritual Gift Hidden in Your Wounded Inner Child? The Opening

Writer: Ryan C. NealRyan C. Neal

The Journey Begins

We are all born into this world as spiritual beings inhabiting a physical form. Before we can even name ourselves, before we can define our desires or shape our dreams, we arrive into a world that begins to mold us.

In the purity of our first breath, there is innocence, curiosity, and wonder — a connection to something greater than ourselves.

But somewhere along the journey of life, that innocence meets the realities of human experience — pain, suffering, disappointment, and fear.

Some wounds are visible, etched into the memory of our lives through tangible experiences of loss, abandonment, or trauma. Others remain deeply buried within, locked in the subconscious, hiding behind the masks we wear to navigate the world.

We learn to build emotional fortresses, protecting ourselves from the very wounds we do not yet understand.

But what if those wounds — especially those carried by our inner child — held the key to unlocking our greatest spiritual gifts?

For many of us, childhood was a time of unfiltered emotions, boundless imagination, and untamed spiritual connection.

We were not yet conditioned by the expectations of society, nor had we learned the limitations imposed by experience. We simply were.

But as we grew, life taught us lessons — some painful, some disorienting, some so deeply wounding that we had no choice but to push them away. In doing so, we also pushed away parts of ourselves.

I ask you these five questions:

  1. Do you believe you have an inner child?

  2. Do you believe your inner child carries wounds?

  3. Do you believe you have a spiritual gift?

  4. Are you presently living in alignment with that spiritual gift?

  5. Could your spiritual gift be hidden within the wounds of your inner child?

These are not just theoretical questions.

They are gateways to self-discovery, invitations to embark on a journey that will lead you inward — to the place where your spirit first encountered the world and where your deepest wounds may still reside.

These wounds, though painful, are not barriers; they are bridges. They are not the end of your story; they are the keys to unlocking your purpose.

As a physician, I have spent decades treating the human body. I have seen firsthand how physical ailments often have spiritual and emotional roots.

I have witnessed patients whose suffering extended far beyond the confines of their medical diagnoses — whose struggles were not just of the flesh but of the soul.

Through these experiences, I have come to understand a profound truth: healing is not just about curing the body; it is about restoring the spirit.

And restoring the spirit requires a journey — a journey inward, to the very heart of our being.

I did not always know this.

Like many, I believed that success, knowledge, and worldly accomplishments could override the wounds of the past.

I thought that if I worked hard enough, achieved enough, and helped enough people, I could outrun whatever shadows lingered in my subconscious.

But the soul does not forget.

The inner child does not disappear.

And no matter how far we try to run from the pain, it waits patiently for us to turn around and face it.

The7Realms is not just a reflection on my journey — it is a guide for yours.

Through The Seven Realms of Spiritual Consciousness (The7Realms), I will walk with you through the process of awakening, ascending, and aligning with your divine purpose.

We will travel deep into the realms of spiritual beingness, unveiling the truth that healing the wounded inner child is the doorway to your highest calling.

Together, we will lift the veil. We will return to the places we have long abandoned within ourselves.

And in doing so, we will uncover the spiritual gifts that have been waiting for us all along.
